These small-group, multi-session workshops are designed to train individuals in the art of storytelling. Using a step-by-step approach, participants will build their stories to a length with which they are comfortable. Participants will be amazed at their capacity to remember and tell a story on demand.
By the end of the workshops each participant will have at least one complete story that they will be able to tell whenever they wish.
A variety of styles are explored, from the traditional, to contemporary spoken-word and slam poetry.
These workshops are ideal for exploring cultural heritage, individual origins, myths and mythology, all with a view to sharing the stories with others and the wider community.
They can culminate with a storytelling festival or sharing event. Assistance with the organization of such events is also available.
These workshops are ideal for middle school or high school extracurricular activities, or to enrich existing curriculum, and are delivered by an experienced and licensed teacher.
